DR.SHYAMAPRASAD MOOKHERJEE HEALTH MISSION turns three in the service of the nation
Mr. Indrajit Sinha Founder of DR.SHYAMAPRASAD MOOKHERJEE HEALTH MISSION, saw a dream to stand by the people and help them in getting treatment in the hour of need. Poor and needy in the society are most affected in the name of harassment in the public health care facility due to not having the proper training in the family and the friends.
To bridge that gap Mr. Sinha came up with this health mission and started the journey 3 years back on the 2nd of December. While looking back, many accolades and praise from the people who were lying down on the path of the journey. Many hard blows were also there from the people who did not want to have such a welfare institution in place. But we overcome all such hurdles and that strengthened us in determination. Our future plan is for the people of India will continue to serve the nation with the plans as follows:
OUR MISSION FOCUSED ON:-
- PROVISION OF FEMALE HEALTH ACTIVITIES IN EACH VILLAGE.
- BU. A HEALTH &SANITATION COMMITTEE ON EVERY GRAM PANCHAYAT.
- IMPROVED THE AVAILABILITY OF AND ACCESS TO QUALITY HEALTH CARE BY PEOPLE ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE RESIDING IN RURAL AREAS.
- GIVING ESSENSIAL AIDS URBAN POOR POPULATIONS LIVING IN LISTED UNLISTED SLUMS.
- ALL OTHER VULNERABLE POPULATION SUCH AS HOMELESS RAG PICKERS,STREET CHILDREN,RICKSHAW PULLER,CONSTRUCTION AND OTHER BRICKS AND LIMEKILN WORKERS.SEX-WORKERS AND OTHER TEMPORARY MIGRANTS.
- PUBLIC HEALTH THRUST ON SANITATION. CLEAN DRINKING WATER &ALSO VECTOR CONTROL
- EMPOWERED A PROGRAMME COMMITTEE CHAIRED BY OUR MISSION TO BE A SUPPORTIVE BODY OF THE MISSION.
- PROMOTION OF PUBLIC PRIVATE (DOOR TON DOOR) VISIT FOR ACHIEVING PUBLIC HEALTH GOALS.
- FORMULATION OF TRANSPARENT POLICIES FOR DEPLOYMENT AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES FOR HEALTH.
- DEVELOPING CAPACITIES FOR PREVENTIVE HEALTH CARE AT ALL LEVELS FOR PROMOTING HEALTHY LIFE STYLES,REDUCTION IN CONSUMPTION OF TOBACCO AND ALCOHOL ETC.
- PROMOTING NON-PROFIT SECTOR PARTICULARLY IN UNDER SERVED AREAS.
AT THE STATE LEVEL THE DSPMHMHAS A STEERING GROUP HEADED BY FEALTH &WELFARE CELL COMMITTEE. THE DSPMHMwiu_ FOLLOW THE ALL STEPS UNDER THE OVERALL GUIDENCE OF THE NHM
THE FUNCTIONS UNDER THE MISSION WOULD BE CARRIED OUT THROUGH THE STATE HEALTH CELL.
OUR MAIN GOAL TO PROVISION OF A FEMALE HEALTH ACTIVITIES IN EACH VILLAGE AND BUILD A HEALTH & SANITATION COMMITTEE ON EVERY PANCHAYAT.
OUR MISSION IS ALWAYS SERVED FOR POOR PEOPLE.”
In this pandemic situation, we are under the threat of losing our near and dear one without help none can be shifted to the hospital, hence DR.SHYAMAPRASAD MOOKHERJEE HEALTH MISSION members will work in close association with the Doctors and medical staff to operate and help the patients and their relatives in the hour of need.
Mr. Sinha congratulated the entire family of DSPMHM team and their family for their support and best wishes without them. It was not possible to reach these feet. He also added soon you will see a transformed face of the Mission in National context too.
