Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha national leadership protested and expressed deep anguish over the “Shoe Pandal” issue.
Kolkata is famous for its art and craft show during puja and which expresses cultural carnival for the country. But the liberty in the name of Art is crossing all the limits and hurting the Hindu Sanatan sentiments. It is very unfortunate that none of the authorities or even people took active action against such mischievous acts. Durga Puja is an important part of Hindu Culture and part of Navratri which is a pan India festival for a win over evil forces. But Bharat Chakra Puja at Dum Dum Park has crossed all the gentleman and dignified respect to Goddess Durga.
This kind of action not only shows the taste of the people in the area in awful lights but also sets an example of hating Hinduism as a laughingstock in front of the World.
We strongly condemn the act and request Chief Minister Ms.Mamata Banerjee to advise the administration to stop such Puja exhibitions wherein sentiments are hurt. We were expecting Mamata Banerjee to be the daughter of “Bramhin” should have acted long back. We should put no religious worship on awful lights just for branding or any other causes.
When we asked Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha national leadership, this was the reply from Ravindra Dwivedi National Working President, Indrajit Sinha National Vice President, Suman Munshi Media Head & Political Advisor Eastern India, unanimously said such acts made them compel to take resolution for any future incidents will be handled with larger public up spring and even need be with legal action against the organizers under the law.
National president of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha Tridandi Ji Maharaj said “we must show our respect to our culture and hold strong our heritage. None is authorized to damage and hurt Hinduism.”
Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha is the oldest socio-political group of Hindu Culture and religion in India.
