Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha declared the National President election timetable – New national president will be announced on 22 November 2021 after the election

In the first phase of the election process for the post of National President of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha, the Swagat Samiti (Election Committee) has released the timetable for the elections. The reception committee, after consultation with the National Working President of Hindu Mahasabha, Ravinder Kumar Dwivedi, finalized the timetable and made the timetable public. This information was given by Bhaskar Tiwari, national spokesperson of Hindu Mahasabha.

Bhaskar Tiwari said in a statement issued today that according to the constitutional arrangement of Hindu Mahasabha according to the timetable, all the state presidents of Hindu Mahasabha can send the names (nomination papers) of the candidates of the national president to the reception committee from October 10 to October 20. The Scrutiny Committee, constituted by the Reception Committee, will scrutinize the nomination papers on October 22 and issue the list of candidates found valid. From October 23 to 30, the state presidents will have time to withdraw the names of the candidates. In the event of non-withdrawal of names, the state presidents will have to inform the reception committee in writing. The final list of candidates will be released on November 1.

Bhaskar Tiwari said that from November 2 to November 8, all the state presidents would convene a meeting of the working committee of their respective state and select the best candidate from among the declared candidates. State Presidents will have to give information about the name of the candidate determined by the majority of the State Working Committee in the form of their vote to the reception committee by speed post post between November 9 and November 20. On November 22, the votes received from different states will be counted by the counting committee constituted under the chairmanship of the retired / sitting judge by the reception committee. On the same day, the candidate who gets the votes of the most states will be declared elected as the National President for the next three years 2021 2024 term. The elected National President will assume the powers of the President from the outgoing National President while taking the oath of office at the 65th National Convention being held in Lucknow on 22 December. The new executive committee of the Hindu Mahasabha will also be elected in the session itself.

Rajesh Kumar Mishra, General Secretary of the Reception Committee, said that the National Working Committee had started the election process for the post of National President by forming the Welcome Committee in the meeting held on September 25. The tenure of outgoing National President Swami Tridandi Ji Maharaj has ended on September 1. Along with releasing the election timetable, the reception committee has issued a fair and transparent election process. By the President of the welcome committee, 28 state presidents of the Hindu Mahasabha are being sent through speed post and WhatsApp through speed post and WhatsApp. He told that by sending letters to Swami Chakrapani Ji Maharaj, Munna Kumar Sharma, Baba Nandkishore Mishra, Swami Siddhagiri Ji Maharaj, and Ms. Rajyashree Choudhary by the welcome committee, they have been called upon to make Hindu Mahasabha a united entity by participating in the election of the President.
