The Indian National Capital Region Delhi trembled at Bharadupura region of NCR. People experienced mild earthquake there. The magnitude of the tremor was around 2.1 on the Richter scale, as reported by authorities. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage in a large.

The first jolt was felt in the Punjabi Bagh area at 12:02 pm on Sunday. The epicenter was reported somewhere at a depth of 8 km.

Delhi is one of the five earthquake-prone areas in the country. Earthquakes along Central Asia and the Himalayas were felt in Delhi. However, the epicenter of the quake was in the heart of the capital.

Normally some after shocks are also expected in such period, People must be alert for the next few days.
