Ex-Governor of Tripura and Meghalaya and senior-most leader of West Bengal, BJP Shri Tathagata Roy blamed the state leaders for election management amid post-poll violence.

In a Twitter message, he said the selection of entertainment personalities with no political background has doomed the party’s prospect and image. The leaders in charge of election management are directly responsible for the same.

BJP state president Dilip Ghosh said, “We have done the best comparing any previous election and anyone can daydream of mismanagement, we can not control that”. In a way, he washed away the charges on local leadership.
