Janhabi Sanskritik Chakra is not just a theater group but a huge family. Every member of the family has bound this family with their love. Creating Art is the main motto of this family.
The family got off to a good start in 2005 with the help of Mr. Samarjit Das. The family is slowly growing. The aim of JSC is to bring theater to different levels of society. They have been rewarded for spreading their theatrical talents in different parts of India. But Janhabi could not fill her happy mind at this moment of victory. They wanted to bring back those who had fallen out of the mainstream of life for various reasons. So since 2010, the Janhabi Sanskritik Chakra has been working with the residents of Howrah Correctional Institution. One can never be perfect, but it is not wise to kill the artist inside a person for a mistake. So, Mr. Samarjit Das started the theater with the residents of the penitentiary and put everyone’s work on the shelf today.
On May 29, 2020, Janhabi took the first step of distributing relief to the cultural cycle. During Amfan, the survivors also distributed relief items in the villages.
Janhabi Sanskritik Chakra is going to appear in a new avatar with more awe-strucking works in the upcoming days. It will start on March 26, 2021 (Friday) at Ranu Chhaya Mancha (Academy premises). ” বসন্ত উৎসব ” will be celebrated from 12 noon to 6 pm. A wonderful combination of dance and colours .
A new dance section of the Jahnavi Cultural Circle is about to open. The name is “Meghmalhar”. Another amazing playwright is the ” পাগলা ঘোড়া ” written by Badal Sarkar.
