Bongio Samaj Bengaluru West Bengal Unit organized an event Youth today, Future of Bengal a unique interactive program on 9th March 2021 at 5PM in Sir Ashutosh Memorial Auditorium, Kolkata.
Guests for this event were Smt. Agnimitra Paul, renowned Fashion Designer, and the West Bengal State President of Mahila Morcha BJP along with Sri. Soumen Purakayastha (National Convenor Naba Banga), Sri Lokenath Chatterjee, (Senior Advocate of Calcutta High Court), Sri Shreekumar Ray (Principal of Rabin Mukherjee College).
More than 100 students from different districts of West Bengal participated in this event. Program started with Ganesh Vandana performed by the artists of Pashchim Banga Krira O Jono Kalyan Parishad (PBKOJP), an NGO who works for the upliftment of the children of red-light areas.
The main objective of this event was to address different issues faced by the students who studied outside West Bengal and motivate them for their better future. Sri Bhavin Parmar (State Secretary Kolkata Urban Bongio Samaj) mentioned that “in today’s world we all need to focus on youths as they are the future of Bengal. We have many forums to address political issues but very less forums are there for students to hear their issues and guide them appropriately.
We have many plans to hold many such sessions on Youth development and give guidance accordingly”.
