Netaji Subhas Vichar Foundation demands to set up tallest statue of the world – “Netaji”

Declares 16 point demand to the Govt. Of India & Govt Of West Bengal

Kolkata, 7th January 2021: Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s birthday,ie, 23rd January should be declared as a National holiday and at the same time it should be christened as Desprem divas. To pay due respect to the glorious deeds and contribution of Netaji in the freedom struggle a statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose should be erected in Delhi. These demands were raised in a meeting of Netaji Subhash Vichar foundation in the presence of Sunil Mondal, MP, Purba Burdwan, Indranil Bhattacharya, Trustee, Netaji Subhas Vichar Foundation, Dr. Debajyoti Sarkar, newly elected State President, Netaji Subhas Vichar Foundation, Asish Lal Singh, Founder of Netaji Subhas Vichar Foundation & other state committee members of the foundation.

Netaji should be declared the first Prime Minister of India as he formed a government of India in exile and he was elected as Prime minister of the said government. It was also demanded that to pay respect to INA soldiers an INA war memorial should be constructed at India gate, Delhi, and to salute the bravery of the INA soldiers a regiment, named either Netaji Subhas or Azad Hind regiment should be created in the Indian army, also observed that the time has come, when, the tag of war criminal attached to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose name must be removed. It was observed that Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s contribution to the Indian freedom struggle should be included in the Indian education, and also the contribution of all the freedom fighters too, to make students aware of the freedom struggle. The ideology, dedication, devotion, and emotion of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose should also be incorporated in Indian history and education. The constitution should be amended to incorporate an act, that, freedom fighters’ movies and documentaries cannot be released without the proper approval of the government. It was also sought that some social welfare schemes, like, housing and health should be named on the name of Subhash Chandra Bose. At the same time a family pension scheme should be started for the families of the brave soldiers who fought the British army.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose belongs to the whole country, but, he was born and brought up in West Bengal, so West Bengal has a privilege and to honor it great statue of Netaji in West Bengal should be erected at a prominent place. One of the greatest leaders of all time has been portrayed as a superhero of our country, yet his mysterious disappearance still one of the biggest unsolved international cases till date, even a considerable chunk of people believe that he is still alive. Many theories have escalated over the years claiming to draw different conclusions about Netaji, yet no concrete information has been assessable to the mass. Foundation demands that this mystery should be cleared forever.
