Rocket Mondal an ace musician-composer has recreated one of Salil Chowdhury’s landmark songs “O Alor Path Jatri Eje Raatri Ekhane Themona” once recorded by legendary singer Sabita Chowdhury with choir. This musical tribute is being performed by twelve noted musicians from India and Bangladesh like Rahul Chatterjee, Snehasish Mazumdar,Morshed Khan,Pearo Khan,Kazi Arindam,Soumyajyoti Ghosh,Gopa De Sarkar, Tapas Roy, Foad Nasser Babu, Samrat Bose, Walter Dias, and Rocket Mondal.

After indipendence people started getting lazy and this song was created to motivate, charged up them.

Rocket Mondal says,” Salil Da’s ganasangeet always has enough of  motivational elements. During this lockdown time which is more than a two months time many of us started getting nervous of losing jobs, mentally depressed so on a sudden this song came to my mind.I called all the fellow musicians and expressed my plan to go for an instrumental cover of the legendary song. All of the noted musicians came together from India and Bangladesh and recorded it.I was fortunate to work with Salil da. His songs have an immense lyrical values and his mass songs are still relevant.”

The song got released in the album “Ghum Bhangar Gaan” and after so many years it has been recreated by so many noted musicians to spread out positivity. The song tells about the journey of life, not to stop.A song with an eternal massage about life.
