Second time in less than 24 hours I have to write this sad news again. We lost another legend from legendary Kapoor dynasty of Bollywood. Chintuji as known popularly by all is loved by all romantic movie lovers.

He started his career as Hero, in Bobby in-home production opposite Dimple Kapadia, an overnight hit and historical milepost in RK Films. Rest is history, The tallest man who never came under the shadow of the mighty Bachchan era. Amar Akhbar Antony a cult movie of Bollywood showed that he is not at all a junior partner with senior Bachchan, but complementing and taking the level into the next sphere.
His film songs mostly sung by legend Kishore Kumar and his screen presence made them golden collection for even today’s YouTubers.
Kapoor was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer in 2018 and went to New York City for treatment. After successful treatment for over a year, Kapoor returned to India on 26 September 2019.
Kapoor was admitted to Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai on 29 April 2020 after he complained of having difficulty in breathing. He died on 30 April 2020.
Our heart felt condolence to the family. Surely late Raj Kapoor must be happy up in the heaven to receive his equally legendary son who carried his family legacy so delicately with his own class of identity.
