Mrs. India Worldwide East 2018, Aakanksha Manglani launches her first Calendar

Kolkata 30th January 2020Mrs. India Worldwide East 2018, Aakanksha Manglani launched her first Calender of 2020 in the presence of renowned designer Ms. Sharbari Dutta, Musical artist   Ms. Dipanita Acharya, and Masterchef Priyanka M at Marbella’s today.

Bring it on Entertainment and Storyteller Entertainment launched their first calendar with Aakanksha Manglani as the face of the calendar. The theme of the calendar is “womanhood”.  The empowerment and autonomy of women and the improvement of their political, social, economic and health status is a highly important end in itself. In addition, it is essential for the achievement of sustainable development. The full participation and partnership of both women and men is required in productive and reproductive life, including shared responsibilities for the care and nurturing of children and maintenance of the household.

Aakanksha Manglani is the perfect example of being a successful woman, her journey as a model initiated in the year 2007.  From walking the ramps to taking up modelling assingments  for fashion and lifestyle brands, she has seen herself grow from a girl passionate about her dream to a professional model.

Since then, there has been no turning back. She had participated in a fest as a lead model and following that, she has been a part of more than 40 ramp shows. That was her first step towards shaping her dream. Getting married in 2009 happened to be a graceful year for her and after three years of giving birth to a baby girl, she resumed back to work. She came back on track after a long break and stood up for Mrs. India Worldwide for Haut Monde.

Speaking on this occasion, Aakanksha Manglani, Mrs. India Worldwide East 2018 said, “It is a dream come true to be the face of a Calendar. I am extremely happy and overwhelmed. Many women think that their life stops after getting married, but this thinking of the society should be changed and women should not stop focusing on their career and should learn to be independent . This calendar promotes that a woman’s life doesn’t stop after getting married, they should retain their identity even after getting married”.
