The Executive Committee of Mohammedan Sporting Club, on Thursday, unanimously elected Dr. Taha Ahmed as the Hony. Assistant General Secretary of Mohammedan Sporting Club. Dr. Ahmed is a renowned orthopedic surgeon who also holds the FIFA diploma in football medicine.
Dr. Taha Ahmed said “I’m honored to be associated with this club and would like to thank the general secretary, Mr. Qamaruddin and all the other officials for considering me for this post. There was a time when Mohammedan Sporting set the benchmark in Indian Football. Our immediate goal is to qualify for I-league. We have a long term vision for the club which includes an emphasis on our grassroots program and promoting local talent.”
