LET AGE BE NO BAR!

-Levels the Club introduces ‘club life’ for senior citizens in Kolkata for the first time

Kolkata, 23 July 2019: As is rightly said “Age appears to be best in four things; old wood best to burn, old wine to drink, old friends to trust, and old authors to read“. At Levels the Club, they believe that age is just a number and aging is also a reason to celebrate. An individual’s age must not limit their young soul. Levels The Club, a premium pub restaurant located in the heart of Salt Lake, at Sector 5, announced their unique initiative today, solely for senior citizens. The introductory event of this unique offer witnessed the presence of a number of eminent personalities like Mr. Tridip Chatterjee, General Secretary, Publishers & Booksellers, Guild, Mr. Sambaran Banerjee, Veteran Cricketer, Ms. Sudeshna Roy, Renowned Bengali film director, actor & writer, Mr. Pankaj Parekh , Director, Rosa Allita Hotels & Resortsand other eminent personalities Prabir Roy and Amitava Bhattacharya.

This innovative offer is available for senior citizens on every Monday, since the club has decided on celebrating ‘Senior Citizen Night’ each Monday, from now on. Not until now had any club come up with the idea of having an exclusive menu for the senior citizens, but Levels the Club is all set to introduce a menu that is specially curated for them consisting of all healthy delicacies. This astounding menu spreads across a number of innovative dishes like ‘Chang-De-Galene’ which is a clear Mediterranean soup, ‘Prawn Valentino’ made of fresh prawns seasoned with Valentino sauce served on a bed of Spaghetti, ‘Charcoal smoked Gandharaj Bhetki’ which is chunk of Kolkata Bhetki cooked on charcoal.  Levels The Club explained that the specialty of this menu is not only that it is healthy, but it is also ‘lip smacking’ delicious.

The fun filled evening witnessed a lively gathering with amusing games like snookers, chess, darts, jhinga and foosball. Furthermore, the club also has a ‘Book Lovers Conner’ with a breathtaking collection of quality books, for the bibliophiles.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Subramanyam Vssn Mushi Nuri, Owner, Levels the Club, said, “We at Levels the Club, have always tried to come up with something innovative and unique. Over the past few years, there has been an immense boom in youth oriented services everywhere, because of which a major segment of the population has been absolutely neglected – the senior citizens. We realised it was time to bring back the focus on them, and that is how we came up with the concept of ‘Senior Citizens’ Offer’. We believe in breaking stereotypes and that is what this idea is all about. To show the world that life can be equally healthy and exciting at the same time, even after sixtyWe are here to prove that ‘Old is Gold’.

With the introduction of this offer, Levels the Club aims at focusing on the idea that an individual can be fit and active even beyond the age of sixty. Levels The Club highlighted the fact that, mere exercising is not enough for living a healthy life at sixty. The secret to a healthy lifestyle is a balanced diet and relaxing in an environment that is exciting, amiable and comfortable. The ‘Senior Citizens’ Offer’ is a promise to provide all of these, under one roof.

The pricing is pocket friendly keeping in mind the location and the customers. The club offers its best from 12 noon to 12 midnight and the food is priced for two at Rs. 1200 with alcohol plus taxes. The Club provides a Membership Card and offers a 50% discount to all the Senior Citizens every Monday.

On one hand where all other pubs and restaurants in the city is trying to cater to the needs and cravings of the youth, Levels The Club on the other hand, has stepped out of the norm and taken a step towards the interests of the senior citizens. With the ‘Senior Citizen’s Offer’ on the go, Levels The Club is all set to walk on the unconventional path and create a niche for itself in this line of business.
