Music Enthusiasts Rock Parx Hunt Regional in Kolkata
The 3rd regional final for Parx Hunt 2018 had a zealous start at Calcutta Medical College in Kolkata on 17th September 2018. Hidden Identity won the East zonal round proceeding to become a finalist for the Grand Finale in Mumbai.
The evening opened with some scintillating performances by the participants set fire to the ambience. The jury was astonished by the all-new renditions presented by the participants- Kolkata Clouds, The Blue Birds, Deathlore and Hidden Identity. The sounds and visuals at the event took the vibe of the evening to another level of exuberance. At the end of the evening, Hidden Identity __ emerged as the winner of the regional round. Formed in 2011, the members of Hidden Identity have ever since continued to create soul-stirring music.
Luke Kenny- Actor, VJ and Music Composer, the Mentor for the participants, was present at the event guiding the participants throughout the contest. Power-packed performances by the headlining band- Underground Authority got the audience grooving to their beats as they concluded the night with their electrifying performance. The raging enthusiasm and the massive turnout of the audience made the event a great success.
Parx Hunt is a rare opportunity for the upcoming college bands with a bigger and better platform with a once in a lifetime opportunity to be mentored by renowned musicians before the run-up to the Finale, for a unique musical extravaganza. It’s a platform which stands for more than just about being a competition, it sets the foundation for a path to grow and explore all facets of music accommodating different genres within itself.
