West Bengal Education minister Dr. Partha Chatterjee along with VC Professor Saikat Maitra of MAKAUT started a unique website for the students of MAKAUT to get placement after course completion.
The site www.makautplacement.com is one stop exchange for the freshers and students of MAKAUT and the prospective employer. Job seekers will register an employer will search for the right candidate.
Partha Chatterjee appreciated the initiative by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) and said this can be a role model for other universities in Eastern India specially for Bengal.
Padmashree Professor Dr.Ajoy Roy from IIT Kharagpur explained why such initiative is need of the hour.
