Kolkata, 25th May 2018: Shyam Sundar Co – Jewellers the heritage jewellery-house celebrated ‘Sricharaneshu Maa’, an initiative to rejoice mothers and motherhood at Vidhyasagar Sabhagriha, Barasat today. The gleeful evening witnessed a yoga demonstration of power of yoga by well known yoga guru Yogi Biswa. Adding glitter to the entire show noted actor Gargee Roy Chowdhury and elocutionist Urmimala Basu were present to celebrate the evening along with Mr. Rupak Saha, Director, Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers.
‘Sricharaneshu Maa’ is a step initiated by Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers to commemorate mothers and motherhood. Mothers are known for their unconditional love and sacrifice. ‘Sricharaneshu Maa’ is to create awareness for their wellness and fitness with the help of yoga. Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers is known for their social responsibilities and “Sricharaneshu Maa” is an extension of their amenableness.
On this occasion, Smt. Chitra Kole (mother of dance maestro Sanchita Bhattacharya), Smt. Kalavati Devi (mother of renowned dancer Bimbabati Devi), Smt. Mitali Munshi (mother of popular singer Aditi Munshi), Smt. Urmimala Basu (mother of noted journalist Riju Basu), Smt. Tanima Sen Barat (mother of well-known choreographer Kohinoor Sen Barat) were felicitated by Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers as a tribute to the motherhood. Also, a special health card ‘Sricharaneshu Maa’ was launched for free health and wellness check up at Chirantani Yoga Centre at Barasat. This card will be valid till 13th May, 2019.
