Vice-Chancellor Sabyasachi Basu Ray Chaudhuri of Rabindra Bharati University announced about Light and Sound Show on 15th January 2018 at Jorasanko Thakur Bari in Kolkata.
This event to be organised with the help and support of Higher Education, Science and Technology, and Biotechnology, Government of West Bengal, in this historic Jorasanko Campus and Emerald Bower campuses of the university during January 17-20 January 2018.
Representing the culture and heritage of Jorasanko Thakur Bari an icon for Bengali Saga in presence of honorable artists across India and Bangladesh will be a great milestone for the entire Bengali culture.
On 19th January from 1:30 there will be a Coffee Adda /Junction which is going to be something different this time, by singing “coffee house er shei adda ta” a tribute to legend Manna Dey’s calt song for nostalgia.
It’s been five years of this Inaugural Ceremony.
Entry cost per tickets is only fifty rupees and 70 seats will be in each show. If there’s any unavoidable circumstances or technical issues that programs needed to be cancelled will be known before thirty minutes of the shows.
