Bengali’s most cherished festival is undoubtedly Duga Puja. It is now a festival for all not only Bengali but all people from all states. Navaratri and Dandiya also became a part of Bengali’s life style and hence last 10 days was a mood of celebration across the globe where ever Bengali settlements are there along with all NRIs.
Despite of hard core Islamic state Durga Puja Celebration was in full swing in many places of middle east including Kingdom of Kuwait.
Food, Songs and Dance made the jubillant mood for the hard working Indians in Gulf countries to refresh themselves with new energy and life.
The Bijoya Dashami and Sindoor Khela made this time a Holi like colorful moments for Indian and their friends.
A home away from home and a community may be small in number but not less than any Kolkata Puja in spirit and energy showed every one why it is call “Baro Mase Tero Parbon” Thirteen Festival in Twelve Month.
Pretty Women looked even prettier after the Durga Baran and masked with red color sindoor. Each one of them looked like Maa Durga while the unmarried young girls were like Laxmi and Swarasati. Don’t forget the Kartik’s of all ages while few Ganesha with heavy weight presence made a difference in the mood at the venue. Well most of the Shiva Fans had good time with drinks and foods to justify the effort of the cooks.
All paid final pranam to Goddess Durga and requested her for next year to come with even more happiness and peace for all.
