Bengal CM chaired an administrative review meeting for Hooghly at Tarakeswar
Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee conducted the administrative review meeting of Hooghly district and a public meeting where hundreds of people recieved different benefits in Tarakeswar.
This is the first administrative meeting in Hooghly after the Chief Minister announced a new board for an overall development of Tarakeswar where lakhs of pilgrims visit round the year. She had announced the formation of the Tarakeswar Development Board in a press conference held in Nabanna on Monday.
The Bengal CM visited the temple of Tarakeswar to offer puja.
After attending the public meeting the Bengal CM hold the administrative review meeting in Mahavidyalaya. She took stock of the ongoing projects in Hooghly besides interacting with representatives of private healthcare establishments in the district.
Highlights of her speech:
- Furfura Sharif Development Board has been set up
- I am allocating Rs 5 cr for the development of Tarakeswar Temple
- A Kisan Mandi, an SNCU, a blood bank and a Karma Tirtha have been built in Hooghly district
- Hooghly has done good work under Nirmal Bangla Mission
- I declare the achievement of 100% rural electrification in Hooghly district under the Sabar Ghore Aalo Scheme
- A multi super hospital has been inaugurated in Arambagh
- The Singur Movement in the district had drawn the attention of the world
- We had pledged to return land to farmers in #Singur and we have fulfilled our promise
- Agricultural productivity has resumed in Singur
- We have done away with tax on agricultural land
- We have taken up a flood prevention scheme worth Rs 2761 cr for this district
- We are setting up a police commissionerate in Chandannagar
- We will set up a university in Hooghly district
- We will set up a medical college on 5 acres near Tarakeswar, to be named named after Prafulla Sen
- We will develop a tourism centre at Sabuj Dweep
- Kanyashree and Sabuj Sathi will become models across the world one day
- Despite the Centre stopping 90% of the money, I am continuing with ICDS with our own funds
- We have increased the salary of ASHA workers while Centre has stopped giving us funds
আজ তারকেশ্বরে প্রশাসনিক বৈঠক করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী
আজ হুগলী জেলার তারকেশ্বরে প্রশাসনিক বৈঠক করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। একগুচ্ছ প্রকল্পের শিলান্যাস ও উদ্বোধন করেনমুখ্যমন্ত্রী।
এই প্রথম হুগলী জেলার তারকেশ্বরে প্রশাসনিক বৈঠক করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। সোমবার নবান্নে তারকেশ্বর উন্নয়ন পর্ষদ গঠনের সিদ্ধান্তের কথা ঘোষণা করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।
এদিন তারকেশ্বর মন্দিরে পুজোও দেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। নতুন বাস স্ট্যান্ডে সভা করার পর ডিগ্রি কলেজে প্রশাসনিক বৈঠক করার কথা মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর।
এদিন রাস্তা, সেতু, সংখ্যালঘুদের ছাত্রাবাস, পানীয় জল প্রকল্পের উদ্বোধন সহ মত ৯১ টি প্রকল্পের উদ্বোধন করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। এছাড়াও ৪৪ টি প্রকল্পের শিলান্যাস করেন। কন্যাশ্রী, গতিধারা, নিজ ভূমি নিজ গৃহ, প্রধানমন্ত্রী আবাস যোজনা সহ একাধিক সুবিধা প্রদান করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।
তাঁর বক্তব্যের কিছু বিষয়ঃ
- ফুরফুরা শরিফ উন্নয়ন পর্ষদ গঠন হচ্ছে
- তারকেশ্বর মন্দিরের জন্য ৫ কোটি টাকা বরাদ্দ করা হল
- এখানে কিষাণ মাণ্ডি , SNCU, রক্ত সংরক্ষণ কেন্দ্র, কর্ম তীর্থ তৈরী করা হয়েছে
- নির্মল মিশন বাংলা প্রকল্পে সফল এই জেলা
- সবার ঘরে আলো প্রকল্পে এই জেলায় ১০০% গ্রামীণ বৈদ্যুতিকরনের কাজ শেষ
- আরামবাগ মাল্টি সুপার স্পেশালিটি হাস্পাতালের উদ্বোধন করা হল
- এই জেলার সিঙ্গুর আন্দোলন সারা বিশ্বের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করেছিল
- আমাদের প্রতিশ্রুতি ছিল কৃষকদের জমি ফিরিয়ে দেব এবং আমরা তা পূরণ করেছি
- শুধু জমি ফিরিয়ে দিয়েছি তাই নয়, সিঙ্গুরে আজ সোনা ফলছে
- সিঙ্গুর ফিরে এল শস্যের ভাণ্ডারে
- কৃষিজমির খাজনা মুকুব করে দিয়েছে রাজ্য সরকার
- এই জেলায় বন্যা রোধে ২৭৬১ কোটি টাকার একটি সেচ প্রকল্পের কাজ নেওয়া হয়েছে
- হুগলী জেলায় চন্দননগর পুলিশ কমিশনারেট তৈরী হচ্ছে
- হুগলী জেলায় একটি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় তৈরী করব
- তারকেশ্বরে একটি মেডিকেল কলেজ ৫ একর জমির ওপর তৈরী করব, তার নাম হবে প্রফুল্ল সেনের নামে
- সবুজদ্বীপে পর্যটন কেন্দ্র হবে
- কন্যাশ্রী ও সবুজ সাথী একদিন সারা বিশ্বে মডেল হবে
- কেন্দ্র ৯০% টাকা কেটে নিয়ে যাওয়ার পরও ICDS এর টাকা দিচ্ছি আমরা
- আশার কর্মীদের বেতন বৃদ্ধি করা হয়েছে
