The Governor of West Bengal Shri Kesrinath Tripathi inaugurated the FICCI FLO “Pan India Advocacy and Legal Cell” at Kolkata.

During the event Shri Tripathi recited a poem written by him and explained why women are not only a subject to beauty but a source of energy and strength for all.

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is an association of business organizations in India. Established in 1927, on the advice of Mahatma Gandhi by GD Birla and Purushottam Das Thakurdas, it is the largest, oldest and the apex business organisation in India. It is a non-government, not-for-profit organisation.

FICCI draws its membership from the corporate sector, both private and public, including SMEs and MNCs. The chamber has an indirect membership of over 2,500,000 companies from various regional chambers of commerce.

It is involved in sector specific business policy consensus building, and business promotion and networking. It is headquartered in the national capital New Delhi and has presence in 12 states in India and 8 countries across the world.

FLO is the FICCI Ladies Organization and better Known as the Lady with the Lamp for Industries in India and abroad.

The most powerful and able people of India are associated with this organization and specially FLO is Flow of energy for the Industry.

Anupama Sureka a truly women of substance and she is leading the organization as Chairperson for current session,she also serving Sureka Group as Director. Despite of her busy schedule and involvement in many business activities she takes her time for help and support extended towards needy and helpless women.

She told during the event that Legal Help must reach all needy people specially women in India.
