President of India & PM Condoles the Passing Away of HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj
The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has condoled the passing away of HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj, spiritual guru and head of Bochasanvasi Akshar Purushottam Sansthan of Swaminarayan sect.
In a message to Mahant Swamiji, the President has said, “I am sad to learn about the demise of HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj, spiritual guru and head of Bochasanvasi Akshar Purushottam Sansthan (BAPS) of Swaminarayan sect.
Swamiji was a pious soul, always concerned about the welfare of humanity. A constant crusader for spiritual values, Swamiji’s teachings of service to mankind have great relevance in the present world. Swamiji’s words and wisdom will remain a source of inspiration to all his followers and people at large, guiding them on the path of love and compassion.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences and convey them to the countless followers of Swamiji in India and abroad”.
