The iconic Ratha Yatra of ISKCON Kolkata is celebrating its 45th Annual Ratha Yatra on 6th July 2015. Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee along with H.H. Jayapataka Swami, H.H. Bhakti Charu Swami and other Tollywood actors and actresses will inaugurate Ratha Yatra at 10 am at ISKCON temple at Albert Road. Kolkata Ratha Yatra festival consist of 9 day long cultural programs which includes lectures by senior disciples of ISKCON, dance, drama, kirtans, prasadam and much more. Be there to take the nectar.
6th July – Ratha Yatra Festival
Ratha Yatra at 12 pm at ISKCON temple at Albert Road. Route for Rath Yatra is: ISKCON temple -> Minto Park-> Sarat Bose Road-> Hazra Road-> Hazra Crossing -> S.P Mukherjee road-> A.T.M Road-> Exide Crossing -> J.L Nehru Road-> Park Street Metro Crossing-> straight to Brigade Parade Ground.
7th – 14th July – Special Events at Brigade Parade Ground
There will be special pujas, bhajans, kirtans, drama and free prasadam distribution for the pleasure of Lord Jagannath in his temple which will be set up inside the main temple.
14th July – Ulta Ratha Yatra (Return of Jagannath)
Ratha Yatra Procession will begin from Brigade Parade Ground and end at ISKCON Kolkata.
